A Reason for Hope

In a world filled with anxiety, hostility, and uncertainty, Christians are called to live differently, not with fear, but with hope. The apostle Peter reminds God’s people that even when they suffer for doing what is right, Christ remains Lord, and His promises are certain. The Christian life is not one of fear or panic, but of steadfast witness characterized by gentleness, courage, and a clear conscience. As those redeemed by Christ’s suffering and resurrection, we are ready to give a reason for the hope that is in us, not because life is easy, but because Jesus is risen, reigning, and with us even in suffering.
