As we gather on this Independence Day weekend! Whether you are a longtime member or a first-time guest, we are grateful that God has brought you here today! Our nation gives thanks for 250 years of freedom, but today we celebrate an even greater freedom, the freedom Jesus Christ won for us through His death and resurrection. Though we struggle daily with sin and our own weakness, Christ comes among us with forgiveness, rest, and the promise of new life. Today, He meets us in His Word and Sacraments to free us from guilt and strengthen us to live as His redeemed people. May the Lord richly bless you as we worship our Savior together!
