Listed below are the special events and videos of our 150th celebration in 2021.

"lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations...Let your work be shown to your servants and your glorious power to their children." Psalm 90:1,16

By His grace, and through Word and Sacraments, God has grown Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, Indiana from a small gathering of faithful Christians in 1870 to more than 3500 members today.  Three sanctuaries and several school buildings have served Immanuel, the current church dedicated in 1963 and expanded in 1995, and the School most recently expanded in 2005.  May the Lord bless future generations with faithfulness and joy as they embrace the future God provides!

By the grace of God, Immanuel looks forward to celebrating 150 +1 years of ministry in the year 2021.  Such an anniversary provides a wonderful opportunity to:

          - Celebrate our heritage of blessings, since we are here by God’s grace

          - Educate our members and community on our history and its significance

          - Cast a vision for the future, inspired by what God has done in the past

At its July, 2020 meeting, the 150th Anniversary Committee decided to postpone scheduled celebrations to 2021. After confirming with our guest speakers, we provided a new calendar. As difficult as this was, it is practically impossible to have the fellowship and participation that the anniversary deserves, and many of our members could not participate. All donations were used for the 150+1 celebration in 2021!
