Not a Show, but a Savior

God does not desire empty performance or lip service. He wants our hearts. Isaiah the prophet warns us that it is possible to honor God with our lips while our hearts remain far from Him. But the Good News is that God does not wait for us to clean ourselves up or perfect our devotion. He comes to us in order to expose what is false and hollow and drive us to repentance and faith. In Christ, God gives what He demands: a new heart, a living faith, and a righteousness that comes from being forgiven, claimed, and made His own.
